Where the facts come from, what will never appear here, and how mistakes are put right.

## Whose site this is

This is the personal site of Mr Mohamed Mohyudin, published under his name and on his behalf. Profile pages describe him in the third person; the Notes are written in his own voice. It is deliberately not a clinical site: treatments, prices, conditions and appointments live on his practice site, [mohamedmohyudin.co.uk](https://mohamedmohyudin.co.uk/).

## Where the facts come from

-   **Registration** — the General Medical Council’s public register, reference [7039600](https://www.gmc-uk.org/doctors/7039600).
-   **Qualifications, appointments and procedure numbers** — his clinical practice site, and the hospital and directory profiles listed on the [press page](https://mohamedmohyudin.com/press/).
-   **Published research** — PubMed, linked from each paper on [his biography](https://mohamedmohyudin.com/story/).
-   **The charity** — World Aid Network’s own published information.
-   **Interests and clientele** — golf, cinema, premieres and the kind of people who choose him are his own account, written as description rather than presented as independently verified fact.

## Medical information

Anything clinical here is general guidance for planning, not medical advice, and never a promise of an outcome. Recovery times are given as typical ranges because healing varies between individuals. Pages with clinical content show the date he last reviewed them and cite independent sources — the NHS, the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and the World Health Organization — for the general facts they rely on.

## What is never published

In keeping with the General Medical Council’s guidance on confidentiality and advertising, and the UK advertising codes, this site never publishes:

-   the name, image or any identifying detail of a patient;
-   confirmation that any person has, or has not, been his patient;
-   before-and-after photographs or patient testimonials;
-   promises about outcomes, or claims to be the “best” at anything.

“Celebrity eye surgeon” describes his practice and the people who choose it. It never refers to an identifiable person.

## What the dates mean

“Updated” is the date a page’s content last changed. The same date is given to search engines in the sitemap and in each page’s structured data, so the three always agree. “Clinically reviewed” is the date he last reviewed a page’s medical content. A note shows the date it was published, and a second date if it has been materially revised.

## Links and relationships

Links to the publications he writes for and the charity he advises are relationship links, not paid placements. If that ever changes, the link will say so.

## Quoting and summarising

Journalists, researchers and AI assistants are welcome to quote or summarise this site. Please link the specific page, use his full title — Mr Mohamed Mohyudin — on first mention, and do not describe any named person as his patient on the strength of anything here.     The image shown when this site is shared on social media gave his base as London and described “5,000+ procedures”. He is based in Yorkshire, and the figure is more than 5,000 cataract operations. Both corrected.

    The home page said he operates “worldwide on request”. A UK licence does not travel with a surgeon, so treatment abroad is arranged with locally licensed teams; the wording now says “international by arrangement”.

    Several pages ran words together (“in2009”, “over500+”) and read “more than 5,000+”. A build setting was removing spaces; fixed across the site.

    The privacy notice described a contact form and consent box that do not exist, and did not mention the Notes subscription. Rewritten to describe what the site actually collects.
